The Paradise Amish Guesthouse is located on a typical Amish family rural property in the town of Paradise PA. John & Sarah have 5 children aged 12 & up. Although this is not a farm property, there are horses & chickens, as well as a large vegetable garden out back. For guests staying more than one night, a tour of the property may be available if time allows (please ask if interested). This Amish owned lodging has a great, central Lancaster County location – near the towns of Intercourse, Bird in Hand & Strasburg. It’s surrounded by attractions such as the Sight & Sound Theater, Strasburg Rail Road, Dutch Wonderland and much more. Less than 5 minutes down the road you’ll find a great Amish Farm tour and Amish buggy ride.
This simple accommodation has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4 guests in 1 queen & 1 double bed), a full kitchen, sitting room & bathroom w/shower. The guest home has wifi, AC. Breakfasts & dinners to-go are available from the host family for an additional fee. After you make a reservation you’ll be given their phone number to inquire about that. The Paradise Amish Guesthouse is perfect for guests who desire the possibility of some interaction with an Amish family.

Waking up on the farm, enjoying the quiet, and getting a small glimpse into a way of life so different from our own was a beautiful experience. John and Sarah were so warm and welcoming, and we will always remember our time here. It truly was a little piece of paradise.

Wonderful place. So peaceful. You may hear a little traffic from time to time but it was so beautiful hearing the horses trot down the street. It is a very special place. Dave and his family were so friendly, welcoming and sincere. Don’t go if you don’t want peace or can’t handle the slower pace.

My mother & I have stayed here several times over the past few years and have never had an issue. The location is perfect for us as we visit local friends. We always check to see if this place is available before checking elsewhere when we are planning to visit the area.

Loved staying at the Paradise Guest House. Very comfortable and spacious accomodations. The property is beautiful, with horses, chickens, turkeys and a miniature horse. Sarah and John were terriffic hosts. Take Sarah up on her homemade meatloaf dinner - you won't regret it.Beautiful, peaceful setting, complete with fireflies at night and a liter of the cutest puppies.

Absolutely wonderful
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and the family. John, Sarah and kids were wonderful and so delightful to be around. Sarah made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. She also cooked a meal for us one night that was out of this world delicious. The house was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. We will be back to visit this wonderful family.
